Inventor of the iPod

Inventions: Tony Fadell played a major role in creation of the iPod and iPhone while with Apple from 2001 to 2010. But Fadell, who has contributed to more than 100 patents, began his career as a serial inventor while still in Ann Arbor, founding two companies while an undergraduate. His latest company is Nest, co-founded with Matt Rogers, which produces a “smart thermostat” that adapts to its owner’s behavior and can result in energy savings of as much as 30 percent.
